Default 98-01 gs

I am looking to get a 99-00 gs 400 or 01 430. Looking to stay under 22k and in the 55-65k mile range. I know in 00 and 01 they changed the shocks on the gs and I believe in 01 they added more wood to the 430? If I plan on adding coilovers to the car would it make since to get the 99. Does anyone know what else they changed in 00 and 01 on the gs? Can you get a wood wheel on a 99 gs? Also I believe on 01 430 HID's were standard? Any input is appreciated.

You can find all the changes year by year in many previous threads by using search. Also, you can check on the Lexus.com website in the previous model library. The newer wood/steering wheel will not fit with the airbag from older models. And the newer airbag will not plug-n-play with the electrical connector of the older models. All these topics have been discussed previously at great length.

Go to the '01 GS430 here: http://lexus.com/cpo/model_library.html

At the bottom of the page, you can see the major differences.
