Default Navigation Disc Problems

Hello, I am currently having troubles with my navigation unit in my GS300. The nav map would sometimes disappear and then only the waypoint would appear on the screen. The problem wouldnt be fixed until i restart the car and the navigation is reloaded. Whenever this happens, the map disappears, and also none of the buttons work, so i couldnt change the audio or climate controls. What could be the problem?

I already bought this into the dealer and they said nothing was wrong with it.
I was hoping that they would give me a new updated map disc but that didn't work.

Thanks

I had a similar problem when I had my windows tinted. They had to remove the rear window tint and use non-metallic film.
