welcome to the board, I don't know if $200 would be a good deal, but my 2 cents on the matter of how dark you would want the windows depends on you and the state. CT for example can only tint them to 35% i believe. Personal I would want to tint the windows darker then that so u can still see in alittle but its dark enough so when ur far from the car, u can't...

HiT

welcome, and congrats on the 01gs. my buddy has been in tinting business for 20 years, and he has tinted several CL guys cars. so here is your answers:

1. DO NOT pay $200 for dyed films; they cost at most $90. for $220 i can get you some of the best metallic quantum film available tinted with lifetime warranty. on a gs, do not get dyed film as it would bubble in a few years, hence de-value the car, imho.

no wonder the the shop is named "tint devil", the guy's eyes must gotten sooo wide as you told him you dirve a lex.

2. as far as nav reception and metallic tint, there is a small extra antenna for $25 that you can get to improve the reception, no biggie.

3. for blk/blk/, i recommend either 35%(medium) all around, or 35% for the rear and 50%(light) on all sides. this is really a personal taste, but consider you have blk interior, i would not get too dark.

if you ever come up this way, and have time (~2 hours), i can bring you to my friend's tint shop. PM me if you need to.

like he said don't pay 200 for dyed. I paid 140 for Titanium tint with lifetime warranty.
