Took 15 minutes total! Used a blow dryer to heat it up, waxed floss to cut through the goo to get the emblem off, Acra Lac (paint thinner) to remove the goo along with a plastic scraper to further aid the removal of the goo. Didn't do anything to the paint. Flawless.

Looks great Brendan, but it seems too busy... I would put the L-tuned on the lower corner of the right rear tailight instead. Then when you have 2 L-Tuned badges, you can put them near the front fender on the bottom..

Is it just me or is the Aristo emblem bigger than the Lexus emblem?

Is there a difference between 1st gen aristo emblems and 2nd gen aristo emblems?

The 1st gen Aristo is a bigger emblem, but it is inside the middle piece on the rear. The whole middle piece had to be replaced, not just by replacing the emblem itself as what you are doing....

I mean, do you drive a Lexus for you, or for everyone else?

Leave em on if you think it looks good, not to impress others - take em off for the same reason.

I agree....why try to disguise your car just to please others? YOU bought the car...it is YOURS to enjoy as you see fit (within the law, of course...some states don't allow dark tinting).
Case in point: I got an IS300 EXACTLY the way I wanted it.....color, options, everything. (Yes, I was lucky)
If other people don't like the color, or think it's ugly, or a wimp's car, or an old man's car....that's their problem, not mine.

Well I personally want a more sleek and minimal appearance. My mods will be understated and well balanced and blended. The Lexus and GS300 badges are coming off as soon as it get's a little warmer.

My home has a minimalist, modern, clean and simple design scheme and my car will reflect that mood as well.

I debadged the "Lexus" and the "GS400." Saw one like that and liked the way it looked. Much cleaner looking. Left the "L" in the middle because I thought it had locator pins/holes in the trunk lid. Does it or doesnt it? Thanks.
