I'm going to change out my primary battery and I was wondering if I do this, will it reset the navigation and deck and everything to where I'd have to enter a password to regain access to everything? Anyone have experience with this?

I think you are talking about "theft deterrent" password for the headunit.

99.9999% owners have not set the password so by removing the head unit or disconnecting the battery does not require it ... unless you are among the 0.0001%
