I have a friend with a particular situation involving the head lamps on his 96 GS300. He purchased a set of lamps online and when he received them they didn't fit so he sent them back to the retailer for a refund. The retailer said they won't issue a refund on the lamps because they are the correct ones for his car. The retailer said he would exchange the lamps (High Beam) for low beam lamps but that is it.

A GS300 doesn't have dual bulbs does it? High Beam and Low Beam.
