I use the rain-x as well, but lately the squirters havent been giving any "oomph" to the water. It just come out like a squirt bottle. I want a JET!!! Or a strong spray to spread the fluid around better.

Its probably your pump, or you have a leak in one of the lines - try squirting for a few seconds and see if the water goes to the ground in puddles not from the widsheild (know what i'm saying?)...

Hope you get everything to work out... its odd that it'd be like a squirt bottle and not a jet like the '04...

 

I have the same weak output from the nozzles too. Guess Im off to buy some black nozzles with the fan spray. Hope I can get the angle adjusted right.

 

I came here not long ago from the 240sx scene and on those cars, the nozzle is adjustable. There is a scecial tool in the FSM that tells you how to do it. It's not very complex, but i've used a large sewing needle before.

Any chance the ES fan pattern types are adjustable too? Worth a shot right.

The asian camry's have a nice fine mist spray pattern that covers most of the windshield in 1 go. I like that much better than the ****-pattern of the stock GS/aristo... a lot of people in Japan switch over to the Camry's which bolts on without any drama..

 

I wonder if they are any different than the Kentucky made Camry's.... Might have to go stalk the toyota dealership!

 

How do the nozzles remove? I really don't like the ones in the GS. It doesn't spread the water out evenly enough. A nice fan spray would be great. I always end up with dry spots and spray a ton of fluid thus flinging all over the freshly waxed paint and giving me yet another headache.
Youd think Camry nozzles would be an even swap. I'm sure they didn't engineer Lexus specific nozzles. I bet they swap out of quite a few Lexus/Toyota models....

I've never used mine (not much reason to; I keep the car clean).

Don't forget, don't wash your windshield at 80mph; this is a rude thing to do.

Mine were 'shaved' before the new paint... not needed, not attractive.

 

SoCalSC4, aren't the washers required as a safety item for the state inspection? I know for a fact that the wipers need to work, but how about the washer sprayer? Maybe it's different in your state
