Hello everyone

I'm dakrri from Wisconsin. Just bought a 1999 GS 400...love it!

Whats the widest tire I can put on my 1999 GS400 stock 16" rim????

Stock tire is a 225/55/16

Hey cheese head , welcome to Club Lexus and the GS family. Now that you are here, you will not need to worry about your 16's any longer. You will shortly be modding with reckless abandon. Save your money for some 19's or 20's and keep the 16's for winter wheels.

Welcome to CL. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the widest in the rear you could go is 11 inches.

Cheese head...too funny!!

Ya the 19" or 20's would be nice, but that's wish list. I'll need to keep the 16's for a year or so. I'd like to go to a 235 or 245 front and back but I don't want them to rub. Any ideas?

I like the website

Welcome to the forums cheese head. I would wait to get some bigger rims rather than trying for bigger tires. GO BEARS!
