here is another option, i saw it yesterday and thought about getting them for my car.

Im gonna go with the 05 Honda S2000 mufflers with the oem oval tips, they should fill the gap quite nicely and look good too. Im getting the whole exhaust from a buddy of mine for free as soon as his exhaust shows up so thats why i still havent bought any other ones. Hope the info helped.

I tried the turtle wax crome and rust remover and it improved the overall conditon about 10%.

Anything better out there that I might try before buying new replacements?

About how much do either OEM or Aftermarket replacements cost?

I had the same problem. I too went with Turtle chrome polish and it improved the appearence like 1%. When I went with Mothers Metal polish cleaner, It improved the appearence at least 75%. The best part was that it only cost me $4.50 from Pep boys.
