Thanks guys I'll try to get them on ASAP and post pic.

JKashat: If you don't mind me asking what did you pay for the tires, and who/where did you get them from?
I think the tires run about 500 a tire. I bought them from Jr's custom in Dallas. I bought a set of nitto, but they messed up one tire and tried to overnight it the next day but it was not in stock so they gave me the pirelli's for the same price. I have a 98 gs400 also.

PHML&GS300RICH:Wow....nice...and 25 series tires?
I got these 25 series because they recommended them and they said it wouldn't rub. If i don't like them after i wear them down I'll change it up.

I'll like to thank BLUELEX,D2and LXOGOOD for taking there time out to answer all my questions about fitment, bbk and spacers. Thank goodness i had these wheel made from a company named Modular Society and they made them to fit my car with the bbk and they bolted right up no problems so far.

LMSguy: Will Donz straighten them back out after he hits his first pot hole or steel plate covering a construction hole?
No they will not fix them because i got them from Jr's but thank god there three piece wheels and they keep my barrels in stock so if that happens i can change it out. I have an everyday car so i hope that will cut down on the wear and tear.

wait wait wait wait....whos charging $500 each for WHAT kind of tire? you can get a full staggered set of 20 inch nitto 555s 245 35 20 / 275 30 20 WITH tire protections certificates and FREE shipping right from discounttire for right around $900...please tell me im grossly misunderstanding and someone didnt spend 500 each for 20 inch tires...

also bro, why DID you go with such a low profile tire when the sizes i just listed above would have worked just fine?

That is odd, I didn't even notice that. I believe the Continentals 245/30 and 285/25-20 are about 1300 or 1400.00 per set.

As for sizing, take a look at the thread and note that 245/35-20 and 275/30 do work, but they are not perfectly matched (overall diamater). As a freebie to CL'ers, if you want to match with 35 and 30 series 20s then go 235/35 and 275/30-20.

Very Nice . . . But . . . Keep a keen eye out for potholes and ruts. I think the 'ride' going to be a bit 'rough' w/ that profile tire(s).

Enjoy!

Well they sell them for 500 dollars i paid way less than that for them. The brand of tire is Pirelli's. When i wear these tires out i will switch the size. I won't be driving this car everyday. I have a 2000 accord that i run around in so ill just drive the gs4 when i want to show it off.

Thanks for the freebie!! So does 235/35/20F and 275/30/20R better visual appearance than 245/30/20F and 285/25/30R for a 20x8.5 and 20x10 rim??

thanks, Lettuce

imo yes, I had these tire sizes when I had the blk donz wheels and really liked how they matched up the sidewalls from front to back...having had 245/35/20 275/30/20 and than the nitto 235/35/20 275/30/20 i can say they the Nitto's looked more even imo.
