Default Suede Headliner

For those that have done the suede headliner what color did you use? I have the gray interior and a friend just got a bunch of black suede and we are going to do some things on his car and I was wanting to also do my headliner. Would the black look ok with the gray interior or would it be too dark? Also is it hard to remove the GS headliner? Anyone have any tips? Thanks for the help, suggestions, comments

It's my understanding that you have to remove the passenger seat to get the headliner out. When I had my headliner replaced under warranty, they had to remove my seat. However, I had a headrest monitor and they just cut the wire to get the seat out.

Black suede headliner would look good if you also had some black suede on the inside too (seats, door panels, etc.). Doing the headliner in black with nothing else may look funny...

Thanks for the reply Ken. I thought only having the headliner in black suede would look funny. I have also thought about doing the rear deck and also some of the pillars, but only if I redid the seats with black suede.

I think even with your gray interior, the black suede headliner will look clean.
