Talking

Well if patience is a virtue than I am one virtous man. It's been right there teasing me since 1998 and next Friday I pick up my GS430 from Longo Lexus. YYYYEEESSSS. I just recently moved to Boise, ID but Longo made the best offer so I'll be visiting Southern Cali and all my friends there to pick my car up. Thanks to everyone here and there comments about the GS for setting in stone my desire to get this car.. I know a bunch of the members live in the area, shot me an email and I'd be proud to meet up with the Longo plates still on.

Silver/Black GS430 not a thing done, but open to suggestions while I'm in So Cal.

Talking in So Cal

I'm planning on coming down Thursday the 9th and picking up the car on the 10th. I'm thinking that I'll also take the 13th and 14th off so I should be down and with my car for the 10th, 11th and 12th. The 13th and 14th will be spent driving my new baby home on some nice open stretches of highway, ahahahahaha

Default Color

I got a Silver w/ Black interior. No nav just the premium package. Nav supposedly doesn't work well in the Boise so I figured I'd save the dough for things to have done to the car.

jinos - congrats! Make sure you vary the rpm and speed on the drive back during break in period and resist the urge to drive crazy. You'll still be able to go fast for stretches (mind the cops of course), but keep the rpm down and varied.

Thumbs up I hear ya

When I bought my Expedition I broke it in on the 15. I bought it, went home and then went to Las Vegas. It's a perfect stretch to break in an engine well. The drive from Riverside, where I'll be staying with friends, to Boise is 1700 miles. Drivin correctly the car should be perfectly broke in when I get home. Can't wait. Thanks for the advice.
