go get a dyno test... NOW!!!!

Jeebus Cries... Im getting giddy looking at those pics!

Also, on a side note. You considering a vented hood to expel some of that heat? Its going to get MIGHTY hot under there!

The car has been dyno tuned......I will post up numbers when I get the dyno sheet e mailed to me.

Im supposed to have the Veilisde hood on its way sometime in the near future......still debating if I want to put it on. There's not too many hodds for the GS that I actually like. I had all of the manifold piping ceramic coated to try and help with the heat, but your right, it will get hot. If you notice the underneath of the hood is missing the fire protector/ heat padding stuff. The turbo housing started to burn a hole in it. I need to cut a square out on each side of it above the turbos, and put some of that silver heat sheild on the underside of the hood there.

Jeff,
Finally done for now huh? Looks much better then the V1 setup. I see that now you have a puller fan instead of a pusher. I would really do something about your hood because if it is burning a hole in the material that was under the hood, you know what will be next, the paint on the hood. Maybe some properly placed vents should allow more cooling. Lemme see some numbers. How's the new tranny working out. PM me and gimme some info on it if you don't mind.
Ricky

BTW what's happening to your "evil twin" Flashgordon

Without stealing too much of his thunder.......he's in the works now that Im out of his way!! Knowing him, he will do something to go a step further then I did just to **** me off!!!

I was worried about the heat and the paint issue as well, my body guy doesnt seem to be. Time will tell.......if there are issues, then I will adapt to them when the time comes. Im going to start with the heat wrap stuff on there first and see how that works out.

The car is pretty much done.......I am going to make some changes on it before I take it home though. As some of you know, I went a different route on the tranny. That being said, the stall speed needs to be raised quite a bit to accomodate the change. I am also going to change the rear out for the Supra 3.76 rear to help get me off the line with the new set up. I could drive the car home as it sits, but Im not going to until the stall speed is changed.

I have a GS400 rear with a brand new TRD LSD I will be selling if anyone is interested.

THese pics really do the car no justice......I will get some complete pics when its back and cleaned up.

Oh, Rominl, the exhaust tips are black from the tuning.....thats why they look to be missing.

As far as numbers go, I will post them up when I post up all of the other specs on the car.

congrats jeff on the long awaited debut

looks hella sweet

on the trd unit is it already installed into the pumpkin ready to mount if so pm me details please

At the moment, my face doesnt look like that until about 40mph....which is why its still at SRT......its just a matter of changing stall speeds....no big deal, just a tad bit more time. That being said, at 40mph the look is more like !!

The stall issue was no fault of SRT's.......we tried something new with the tranny, and the stall was an educated guess.....it was just a wrong one.

Yeah, I could put turbo blankets on them, but I would hate to cover them up.......I paid alot of money for polishing and ceramic coating.....I would hate to cover them with an ugly *** turbo blanket. The option is there if I need it though.
