Default picking up a 98 gs400...

thinking about picking up a 98 gs400. but was wondering if i should spend the extra money and find a newer one with navi.? or should i just get an aftermarket navi system?? whatcha guys think?? how much should i look to spend for a 98 gs400?? thanks guys

IF you need navigation, find a GS400/430 that has one already. Honeslty, the GS400/430 is a luxury car so it shouldn't look so funny with an indash sticking out. I personally prefer the clean look of the stock integrated navi.

Unless you get a 430 I would probably go with a 400 without NAV. You can get the JDM double din from Carson and it matches perfect, then get the Eclipse or Pioneer D1 (both non flip out) and will look very OEM and be up to date. 98 NAV is blah... If you dont care about it and just want function, look for a GS with it already, there just isnt much upgrading.

ya i dont want the indash aftermarket navi unit that sticks out, i perfer the double din version. i doubt i will be getting the 430 b/c of the cost. im looking to spend around 17k.

for 17K you can definitely find some good GS4's....but it might be hard to find any with navigation at that price... good luck!
