Default Wood Dash Kit Replacement

Greetings,

When I purchased my 99 GS3 2 years ago it came with and aftermarket
wood dash kit. This kit is dated and is peeling off and fading from the sun.
My question is if this is a DYI ? Whats rquired to remove the old wood kit and install a new?
Help I want to renew the love for my interior once again.

I dont know if the pieces that are peeling off can be salvaged. You may have to buy new pieces.

It is a pain in teh azz to take off the pieces. When I bought my GS it had the wood dash kit also. I am not a fan so I got a heat gun and slowly took the pieces off. It takes some time and will leave some sticky residue that you will have to get off. If your stock plastic pieces are still in good shape and you dont scratch anyting you can leave it off or just go on ebay and buy another kit and you can DIY easily.

Thanks.....After the removal I plan on purchasing a new kit.
Does anyone know how much it would cost to have a pro
do it?
