Side Mirror Damage
My 04 GS mirror got "clipped" while backing out of the garage.
The damage (fortunately) seems to be limited to the shell - the whole assembly still flips front and back as before, the mirror can be adjusted, and has no cracks.
The shell has some white "brush marks" (car is black) and the bezel, for lack of a better term, is displaced a few millimeters, and has a small crack in it. It seems that all it needs is some pull from the right direction, with the right force, to snap it back into place. I've tried to manipulate it, but it doesn't seem to move, and I certainly don't want to break it.
Any ideas on how to get it back into place? Do I need to undo any of the screws on the underside?
Anybody have a shop manual who can check for me?
Thanks in advance.
