My neighbor has a 2002 GS300. The battery was disconnected today for repairs. Now the gauges don't light up or work and the Air Bag courtesy light continues to flash repeatedly very fast. Has anyone ever experienced this before?

 

I'd say try the ecu reset first(pull ecu-b fuse for 30-40 minutes) and if that doesn't work, check fuses .
