Default UV Protection for freshly wetsanded headlights ( Help )

Well I just did some work on the headlights, They are back in one peace now I'll be starting to wetsand them as soon as I'm done typeing here. Everyone I seem to talk to said I need to apply UV protect on the headlight lenses when they are done being wet sanded. So what are choices besides Xpel or any kind of film like it. Im not worried about cracking my headlights that gives me an excuse to get a retro .

But at the same time I dont want my current headlight lense Yellow and fog with UV protection.

Thanks for the help

i thought after the wetsanding, it's polishing compound and that's it. you could always add a layer of wax for uv protection.

The Zaino polymer sealants have UV40 in them as well as heat durability.. That would be one easy option.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, that's a pretty good grade of plastic after all.
Besides, if there was a coating, you would have noticed it when you were sanding, and I didn't see anything like that when I cleaned mine up.

i agree, i don't see the real needs for "uv protection" on the headlights

just put on xpel or the venture tapes
