I have just installed a oem nav & radio in my '01 GS. Fully functional nav, radio but no ac controls!

anyone know the location of the following parts?

gateway ecu
#2 body ecu
data link #1

In order for the ac to function, I will need 4 more wire taps to complete this retrofit. I have the repair manual diagrams, but its not very clear!

Thanks for your help.

Hey,
Im lookin at buying a 98 GS400 that Im getting a very good deal on BUT I really wanted to get NAV in mine and it doesnt come with it.
It seems you know what your doin there, how much did it cost you to do your retrofit? How intensive was the install?
Thanks

01 and up use dvd based software, whereas earlier model, up to 00 use different software.

The hardest part of the retrofit is locating all the parts.

You can get alot of information from the below site:

I got my HDD retrofit from E Gus Mancy. I have a 99 GS. He provides enough pictures so the installation isn't too hard. Or youcould do like me and get someone to install it for you. PM me if you want his information.

And what did the labor cost?
