I just got my GS400 (98) a few weeks ago and this site has helped me out a lot~! Now does anyone have any extra parts that they are trying to get rid of? My GS is stock so I need everything and anything. The only mod I've made is that red film thing over the orange part of the taillights. =P Here's a list of things I'm looking for:
-Rims & Tires (19's or 20's)
-Steering ECU
-Bodykit
-Suspension (Shocks or Springs)
-Exhaust
-HID bulbs
-Grills (RMM or any other one)
-Stereo Equipment
-Sway Bars

Welcome to this board and welcome to the ownership of Lexus!!!! You'll find this board very helpful. As for for sale things. i have a front strut bar for the engine compartment, for the GS400 which is from Japan. I'm willing to let it go for $100 + shipping. Thanks.

The red film I used was some generic one. It came in like a small roll and I had to use two strips to cover the part, I'm not sure if this was the best film. I didn't really like the fact that I had to overlay the strips, but it looks okay. I mean you can tell up close that the red is a little different from the stock part, but from about 10 feet away you can't really tell. I think I'll just save up to buy stock replacements.

Hmm...... can you post some pics of your lights?
My red film is exactly the same as the stock lights color when applied..... Even up close, unless you touch the film to feel the texture, you can't even see that it's a film... looks like red glass.
Maybe my film was 3M.

I think yours must be different. Mine came in a roll and I had no choice but to use two strips, which sucked. Did yours come in one big sheet? I got mine at PepBoys and those were the only ones they had. If yours came in a big sheet, I think I'll buy those. Perhaps if I can't find them anywhere here, I can give you some money to get me some (with some extra money for your troubles of course) =)
