Finally got my wheels, must of been on a slow boat from Japan. These are Weds 19 x 8.5 & 19 x 10 running on 235/35 & 275/30 Nitto's. I'll try to post a pic, see what happens.

WOW. Eye popping!. The wheels look great! It matches the car very nicely. I really like your kit as well. What springs and shocks are you running? Great taste I'd say.

David - How would you compare the Nittos to stock? I think they are similiar to the stock Goodyear GT4s, but maybe louder? Seems like I am driving less because of my new wheels and tires. Seems like all I think about while driving is avoiding potholes...argh...oh well...ENJOY...lookin sweet...

Thanks for the props, I'm running Eibach Springs with STOCK Shocks. Just ordered some Bilsteins from GS4wil. The Eibachs dropped the car about an 1.25 inches which is just enough to clear parking bumpers and driveways. I think the WEDS are a very high quality wheel as no wheel took more than 1/4 ounce to balance. The Nitto's have tremendous grip and actually ride a lot better than the stock Bridgestone's I had. I was pretty careful to best match the diameter of my stock wheels. The Nitto's almost perfectly matched the diameters. I don't have any problems with rubbing, nor did my car slow down as sometimes happens with 20's. As far as road noise, they are about the same. I was really surprised how good they rode, I was expecting an SUV type of ride, but I was pleasantly surprised.
I'm running a Sportline front bumper, RMM side skirts, and a Toyota Aristo back skirt. I'll post a picture of just the wheel.

David,
the wait was def worth it.... look at the material and workmanship, no wonder WEDS is one of the major players in the japanese wheel mfg scene.
your bilsteins should arrive my place by the end of next week. you do not need to send me $$$ yet; next week would be fine. thanks

WED Wheels
I have been looking for a set of wheels. I like the WEDS, the other ones that I like are Blit3 03 style rim. Are the WEDS expensive in 19" or 18" - round about price?
I talked to Ben about going into the group buy for the Manaray VR5 Quest Rims in 18" - they look like the Blitz 03 wheels. Nice deep lip.
Any help would be great thanks.

David - congrats - you're only the third person I've seen (including me) with WEDS wheels.
Where did you buy them through? Did you have centering rings put on? Is the ride smooth at all speeds?

Thanks bitkahuna:
I got them from David at GT Autosports. He said they had centering caps, but they didn't arrive that way. I don't really care, as I never wanted them. The wheels are great, and they are very high quality. We balanced the wheels on a digital balancer. With the tires, no wheel took more than 1/4 ounce.
I was most amazed that my 19" tire/wheel combo rides as well if not better than the stock 17's I had. I think that has more to do with the RE030 tire on my 17's versus my Nitto's on the 19's.
I went with the Platinum Black finish over chrome and silver. It was more expensive, but it fit my black GS. I am very satisfied with the WEDS, but it did take a long time to get them.

I really like your new wheels man. They look great!
Wonder if you would share privately or publicly how much you got them for?
I'm looking to get a similar set for my sc400
