just two new headlights setup (i assuem hid) will be over 2k already. if he forced the issue for a new bumper, fender, and hood, that's well over 5k just for parts

That's easily 5000 - 10000.

Dude, there are bolt on frame extensions that are designed to collapse upon impact. I had similar damage to my car and the impact was not intense enough to deploy my airbags but did bend my frame extension on the affected side. And it was clearly visable...not talking about the laser level stuff either.

I would guess at least 7000. I just repaired mine and the damage was not even comparable to yours. The insurance company coughed up 3300.00 for just the replacement of the bumper, new non hid headlight, side marker, and repairing of the fender. The expensive part is the labor, of course. That was for just a small collision at about 8 mph

Man, that sucks. I'm sorry to hear/see it. Just goes to show you that you can be as careful as you want, but there's no way to protect your car against dumb drivers. I had a minor scrape on my rear fender, over the wheel well on my 98 Prelude SH (2 cars ago), and insurance paid out 3,400 for that work. It was no where as much damage as yours. They'll have to replace parts, bang out stuff, and paint the bumper, fender, hood, and driver side door to blend in the color. My guess is probably $5K - $6K. Good luck w/ the repair

I hear ya but those are just bolt on ends that are like $60 each. also his hit just bent the sheetmetal. i could be wrong, but i'm just leanding my personal opinion.
