Default Replacing the stock horn

I'm thinking of replacing the stock horn with these PIAA sports horns, they're 400/500 Hz dual horn, or 500/600 Hz dual horn. Anyone have these? Sound good? I'm sure they're loud, but I haven't done any measurements yet on the stock GS horn.

Get one of those ridiculous air horns that truck drivers have, it'll scare the hell out of people that cut you off....

I replaced my horns shortly after I bought my car. I don't know the freq. of it, but it's a nice dual airhorn setup.

It's definitely loud!

I have one in my old Ford pickup. I enjoy the hell out of it. I have to chuckle when I remember the look on faces of the two women who pulled out in front of me. Gave 'em a short blast and I could see them raise up in their seats. Probably had to shampoo their upholstery.

Hey engin_ear,
Did you replace your horn with the PIAA sport horn? I'm curious to know since I'm looking to upgrade my horn and can't figure out whether to get the 400/500Hz or the 500/600Hz.

My friend has one on his truck that whistles for hot girls or moo's for ugly ones - hilarious!!! And yes, this is Oklahoma - that is what we do here

Back on topic - do you really ever use your horn that much that you would need to upgrade it>??

No, but it woud nice to have a powerful horn. I rarely drive at WOT, but I still want a fast car.
