Just a little venting here (pun intended)....
Thie cabin air filter thing has become the dream of the Lexus dealers around here in Chicago. The last one I was at had FIVE of them around the service writer's office (well the boxes marked Toyota Cabin Air Filter) - along with a "ask me about a new cabin airf filter" poster.
Guess what? Even though mine was changed 5,000 miles ago (at a different dealer ...shhh), It was recommended that I replace it - because the tech said mine was dirty.
I think they charge $65 to change this baby. Cha ching.
and people wonder why we don't trust car dealers....
