Hmmm.... Something about the climate control display...
It's says the fan is blowing, but not which vent is active.

 

I'm traveling to Kansas City tonight and on my laptop so the picture is not huge for me (plus a bit of a glare). I can't really tell what color interior you have (tan or grey), but maybe you painted the vent surround piece to match the AC panel and radio surround? or replaced from a GS with black interior.

I know on mine with tan/ivory those AC controls and surround are tan.

on +2001 up they changed it to the same color as the radio and speedo gauge bezel.

 

how come the "mode guy" is missing from the climate control. usually there is a guy with the arrow pointing to where the ac is going...


so there were two things!!!! HA!

 

I think he goes away when the front defroster button is pushed.

Just checked in and mystery is already solved.

My only question is that this is a paint job? I have not sat in an 01+ but if Gamma is correct, then I would say this is a replacement. Either that or it is a hell of a paint job since the markings on the piece still looks OEM.

 

Dam Dave you are good I bought this pice to match the flow of the center of the car I really didn't like the way the (tan looked) . I thought the black vent would give it a nice contrast. Dave your the man So I take it everyone agrees with me on this one?

Yea I still have the tan one but the black just flows really nice with the center dash piece and the climate controls don't you think so
