Mark Levinson in GS
guys,
what would be the best setting for Mark Levinson in GS300 to get the best quality of it? I couldn't tell the difference so far in sound quality (both radio and CDs)
I was comparing with Bose system in another vehicle and somehow the Bose sounds better...maybe I am not setting it up correctly, any thoughts?

I'm not an expert in theis area, but the quality will depend on music type and signal quality.
The ML definitely does not have the massive bass that has become common place, or even what my 98GS pumped out, but it a very well balanced system. One of the tests is to actually lower the volume and listen to the whole spectrum, which poorer systems will not produce. I tried the matrix DVD and a wide range of music, including drum solo from 311 and Blue Man band, and the quality is impectable.
Would like to pump more base, but I think that is personal preference.

now i don't know about the gs, but on my sc430, if you put everything at normal, the base is pretty weak. so i just put the base to max, the med to 2, and the tre to 3, sounds good to me
