Hello everyone, I have 2 Questions.

1) I was thinking of getting the 17's Chromes, but not to sure if it would be a smart thing to do since I live in New York, Brooklyn area. In case you are not too familiar with that area, it's always under construction - belt pkwy is always damaged, roads are not in good shape at all. So I figure if I get the 17's I would only kill them in a short period of time. Also, dont the 17's create more noise and do they really increase the performance of the car (in my case its a 98 gs400)

Please help?

2) What other boards are there? I only know of this one which is the greatest web site on the internet & that really bad one bimmers.org? something like that. What are some of the other good ones?

What do you mean ! I live in NYC and I have 20's on man ! 17's would be just fine in brooklyn !

 

17s shouldn't be a problem at all.

I would recommend tho, get some light and strong forged 18 inch performance wheels like VolkRacing ones. Heh heh but that's personal preference for everyone.

 

Chrome wheels attract a lot of attention, good and bad. It makes your car a lot easier to find and a appealing target for someone to steal. I try to keep my car as low key as possible, I don't want the cops or other crazy drivers from MA getting to know what my car looks like. All depends on the area.
