Default OEM spoiler -- pre 01 versus 01+

Hey guys. Does anyone know whether the stock OEM spoiler on the 98-00 GS400 is the same as the stock OEM spoiler on the 01+ GS430? I know they look similar, but my sense is that they are not exactly the same. It seems that the 98-00 has a slight rise to it (towards the front of the car), but the 01+ does not. Any thoughts?

I believe all oem spoilers are the same, when you see a difference it's probably aftermarket vs. oem.

Well, I know the base of the factory OEM spoiler (i.e., the one one cars without a third brake light in the window) on 98-00 GS400s has a slight rise to it going from the back of the car to the front of the car. However, when looking at some 01+ GS430s, it seems that the rise isn't there (again, with the factory spoiler -- no third brake light in the window).

Yeah. There's a slight angle. I think it has something to do with the mounting brackets, but I'm not completely sure. Anyway, if you stand off to the side of your trunk and look at the base of the spoiler, it should be flush with the trunk at the back of the trunk and slightly angle up as it goes forward towards the rear window. On some 01 430s I've been looking at, I don't see the rise, and I kind of like the rise.
