Default GS 430 headlight question

In my GS300 everytime I would get out the car at night the lights would saty on for a few seconds, I thought that was cool since it helped me see my way up the front yard. Now my GS430 lights cutoff as soon as I open the door to get out the car. Is this a programable feature or is it the norm for the GS430?

Mine works just fine. I keep the light switch in the "On" position. After i lock the car using the remote, it usally stays for about 15-20 sec longer. If i push the lock button twice, it turns off right away.

yeah i think you can get it programmed.

on my sc430 and is300, if i put the headlights on auto, get out of the car and first lock will just lock the car. second lock will turn off the headlights. otherwise it's a 30 sec period

Exclamation

It is a CBEST feature, so yes, you can. See if the dealer will do it on goodwill basis.
