Talked with a technical support guy over at ZEX. He recommened using a 75/100 shot but the kit for the 430 could do 125 but then you're talking about some other things involved. The part number for the GS kit is 82023. He said you could probably get it around $589 at a shop. I'm gonna do more research on this since it looks like the alternative for my hp quest. I can use it when I want all I have to do is arm it and punch the gas. The purge light kit looks pretty sweet too lol

Moto,
I have the 125 shot on my sc430. I have the entire Zex setup...opener, heater, purge light. I'd be glad to help you out with my experiences.

Oh man that would be sweet! Are you using the stock arming switch? What color purge light did you go with?

How has the kit been on your engine. Whatever info you wanna post I am eager to read

thanks for the help sc430blue

I get this school of thinking from my experience with the Lincoln MarkVIII platform. It is a great car that originally sold for about 40,000 but they didnt hold their resale for crap. Now you can find them for 3,000-10,000 and there are people all over starting to mod them .

And NO by my statement is any car a good platform to mod.
I think the reason we differ in our opinions here is because you are looking at it from a standpoint that there aren't too many products you can buy and put on to make power.
Where as I'm looking at it from a standpoint where I look at the potential of the engine.I know the capabilities of the valvetrain, the flow potential of the head and the stoutness of the shortblock. And I know what I can do to it, to make more power.

Wow, I'm ranting here.Sorry.

what a humble person LMS is. i root for him! maybe a group buy and we all NAAWWWS our lexus vehicles. then no body will say no2 is rice.

Not quite sure what you're saying here sticky? not enough wide interest.

If you guys DO think enough people will be interested, one of you can volunteer to contact Todd (doublewhoosh) to see if he is interested in sponsoring a group buy. His company (TM Engineering) carries both NOS and Nitrous Express brand product lines.

hello dave. the reason why the request made was solely base on displaying the knowledge about the no2 system for future reference and ease of searching. it was not because of the group buy as we've all seen too many times that, even with a wide interest, deals don't fall through due to tire-kickers(such as myself )

like you, i too find the value of exchanging information so much more benefitial than trying to score a discount. as an owner of a heavily moded gs, i'm confident that you can appreciate what i mean.

is there any other reason that would cost you to hesitate about moving forward with the request? (sorry that's a joke from my old sales days )

I have a thread about mods im doing in the sc430 section. It is currently at SRT for a supercharger setup. I'm letting Mo use the car to fabricate some parts for production. Hopefully he'll have a supercharger kit again for the 3uz. The car was dynoed last week. 242 hp stock. HP went up to 312 and tq skyrocketed to 419 ft/lbs on N20. I used Zex's wiring and spliced into the brown/yellow wire on the tps switch. Mo said the car should handle the 125 shot fine. Anything past that we would probably have issues with the piston landing. I do know this, torque at highway speeds is incredible.....smoked a c5 corvette up to 145 mph.

Oh, I have the blue purge light with the rapid fire module....sounds like a sub machine gun.

Just a disclaimer.....that "A" pillar gauge pod was in the mock up stage when I took those photos.

is the pod a custom item or did you get it off the shelf? If it is a standard item I would love to know where I could get one, with maybe 3 pods?

I made it. 3 pods might get in the way of the steering wheel.
