L-Tuned pics before/after
Hi,
Just got my L-tuned aero kit today from SEWELL . Gotta thank Darrel! I couldn't wait til the weekend to install so I went ahead with the front grill. Took maybe 5 minutes. Wow. What a big difference. I'll have to wait til the weekend to finish the side skirts though. I can't wait to get the L-tunes suspension (already on order).

GSLofquist,
Yes, you order the part based on your cars color code. Just check out the SEWELL web site under L-tune. Cost depends on the color either $270 or $350? I paid $270 for mines because white is a popular color. It's a fantastic price for this kit (including side skirts)

Side Skirts Up
Hi flossn,
You've got good eyes . Yes, that is my '03 EVO 8 in the background. It was dark in the garage and I could barely see it.
I installed the L-tuned skirts over the weekend. It took me a lot longer than 45 minutes though. I took it real slow. I tried very hard not to break the bottom fasteners but ended up breaking everyone . I took a look at the design and I gotta hand it to the guys who can get them out without breaking. I just hope they don't rattle too much down there . My install went smoothly except it was a very tight fit. The front notch wouldn't line up with tab. I noticed that there was a lot of material on the ears that screw into the wheel well. I thinned them by shaving with my handy dandy rotozip. There's a slight mis-alignment in the front which the pictures below will show. But, for the price and ease of install, this mod is GREAT . The new skirts is ~1 inch (maybe more) lower than OEM.

Slight flaw but still worth it
Here's the picture of the slight flaw. I looked at the design between the L-tuned and the OEM. I couldn't really nothing that could be done short of re-doing the L-tune mold. Also, I just got my L-tuned shock/springs and trd lower brace. I guess I'll be back in the garage this weekend. I haven't picked up my maintenance manuals yet, do does anyone the lexus instructions on PDF? Thanks in advance.

you might want to try to loosen all the screws to the side skirts and pushing it back slightly....if you installed the skirts by tightening the first screw then going on to the next then the next...etc....then that might be why its not aligning well... give it a try
