Hi Will,

No, not my car. I don't have the wheels on mine yet.

I don't know what body kit it is. I wish I did. I think it looks good. It's my style, not too much and not too flashy. And I don't think there is a special euro rear light on the 2001 models. I think mine looks just like yours.

Per,

i just noticed that you need to have the wheel re-drilled due to smaller size. this is very strange. i like the opera II, and tire rack.com sell them. i was informed that they are straight bolt-on, without any modification. the ones in the pic are the same as mkilty's i saw on saturday. he has 295 in the back and theylooked MEAN. he also told me there is no rubbing

one shop owner in San Francisco told me about the "euro light". they are like the pic you posted. red on top and bottom with white /clear strip in the middle. the factory US gs light(98-00) has "yellow" strip in the middle.

i realll like the silver gs you posted, thanks. if only i know what kind of kit....

Will,

There's a slight difference between the 2 piece (that I have) and the three piece (that mkilty has) as you can see here:

This is what my rear light looks like:

(the white part is broken glass, nothing else)

Benny, [sorry, I meant Bobcat]

With your budget you could get excellent rims.
If you like the idea of having exclusive rims and not seeing them at every corner, I would suggest a japanese brand called RS Watanabe. I think they make the most exotic rims available today. There's a model I particularly like: the Forged Mg Cyclone. This is a two piece forged magnesium rim. The 19x8 model weighs an amazing 16.5 lbs!! It is a five split-spoke design, which inspired similar wheel designs like the radius R4. David at gtautosports.com might help you getting them from Japan. The price for each 19 x 8-9 wheel would be around $850.

I also think japanese brands are the best choice. In fact, historically Ferrari always had their wheels forged in Japan from their own aluminum or magnesium billets. The japanese really know the secrets of manufacturing great rims (specially forged wheels). Here's a pic of the Cyclone

I really really like the GS Overtaxed posted up on this thread.

Anyone know what kind of body kit that is??? AMAZING !!!

Also, the side view mirrors seem to have the turn signals/blinkers on them just like AltBrave's GS (and MB cars). I want that too !!!

But I am not too crazy about the euro lights.

sicklex:

which knockoff are you thinking about getting?
I, too, have a lot of respect for the veteran's opinions, but, if there is a cheaper rim that blows you away I say go for it ! There are a few Niche rims that I think are pretty cool looking (at least in the pictures??). Tell us what you're gonna get.

gs4power, those are some wicked wheels!

I think Manaray already spoke his mind so he is done for this post.
People have their own taste and budget.

I like this wheel. Dazz Camus. Only comes in 19"

What do you all think?

Too much like a Bmw or Benz rim?

I think it looks sorta like a deeper dish version of the OZ Operas like MKilty's got.

looks like Lorinser wheels. Again, NO MB wheels!

I think i'm too harsh on this. It's everyone's choice on wheels. Maybe you like it. Maybe we don't. It's all cool though. If you like it, then go for it. At least it's not really a Mercedes wheel.
