Ken,
I've been following your posts for a few years now. I clearly remember the pics you posted of the prototype Turbonetics system for the GS3. Guess that never came out, eh?
Congrats on finally pulling the trigger on an FI solution - it looks very clean!

Yes that is a hot setup, I like it too. I wonder what the VVt problem was witht he turbonetics system, I would think you would have the same problem with a Supercharger but it seems that we were able to overcome it whatever that issue was.

Morris I talked to Turbonetics at Sema last year and they told me their engineers could not crack the Lexus ECU. They don't believe in piggy back ECU's...Of course, we all know how hard the Lexus ECU is to crack so they gave up on the project. They told me the Nissan 350z and infinity G35 ECU was cracked in 15 minutes that's why they were able to put together a turbo setup w/fuel managment for those cars. For some reason they had no problems putting together a turbo setup for the 1Gen GS car and SC300... LMW is working with a company for a fully adjustable ECU that will work with many F.I cars. The release date is in about 4-6 weeks.
TLW The wideband is great but gets a little annoying looking at the numbers during daily driving. install was very simple but you lose your clock and passenger seatbelt light... AEM has a wideband gauge that looks hot and can be mounted in a gauge pod. I came across AEM after I purchased mine.. Oh well.

Well that would explain it then, if they just dont like Piggy backs I could understand why they had to quit. That seems like such a wast thought becuase I thiknk you can probably hit 450rwhp or better with a piggy back and oem ECU
Stopped by LMS today and Ken's car was there. Clean install and that whole system looks like it belongs in there. Was curious about the remote start so Jacen demonstrated how it works.

Beautiful job!
Sure you have David, you chatted on SELOC with DasGalloway about his Toyomoto supercharger kit remember? There are at least three companies making 'em for the IS, with our forum sponsor LMS coming out with the lastest one seen here!
