Need Pics of 18" rims on GS
Hi Guys,
I'm looking to buy some 18" 5 spoke rims for my GS430. Can you guys post some pics of your ride with 18" rims + the description of the rims (size, offset, tire size, staggered?)
Thanks!

And the wheel tire forum here

AS well as use the SEARCH feature. Then when you have done some HW on what you like, people will jump in.

I got Volk's GT-C staggered set up on the 01 GS430.
Front is 8x18 with 235/40/1. Offset +36
Rear is 10x18 with 265/35/18. Offset +37.
I'm not sure about the correct offset. I ordered 9x18 for the rear, but they send me the 10x18 mounted and balance, so I have to keep them instead of try to send them back and forth.
Make sure you got some shocks and springs to drop it down. If not, you car will look like a freaking Jeep Wrangler with low profile tires on her.

18's
I should have gotten 19's. Got 18's for softer ride since it's my wife's car, but regretted it after a while. Had to live with them for 2 years. And now I'm selling the car.

Just a quick question. If I get 4 rims that are not staggered (same size all around) Will the rear rims still have the fat lip on it? Or will the front and rear rim look exactly the same?

EV ftw!!!
Here are two different views of my car on 18's
- F - 18x8.5 OS.31 - tire size 245/40/18
- R - 18x9.5 OS.37 - tire size 275/35/18
Hey AlohaGS3, thanks for the props!

[QUOTE=IJOCKGS]Thanks for all you pics guys. It really helps to know that what you are seeing are actually 18" rims.
I agree....Im debating still between 18's vs 19's, and while Im not in the market for wheels until later in the year, it definitely helps getting the visual of such nice GS's on 18's (and to be honest, the 18' pictured here don't look as small as I thought that 18's would...is that due to thinner tires and the suspensions?)

[QUOTE=jmjs23]
yes with the drop and skinnier tires...the rim appears bigger...as far as debating 18s vs. 19s....check out a gs on 19s in person...imo it looks a lot better....but if you want a combination of ride quality, decent looks then 18s are the way to go....but yeah before you buy wheels...make sure you do some research (there are soo much options with rims..its not even funny haha)....some wheels also mayb appear smaller.....for example wheels with step lips APPEAR a tad smaller than wheels with reverse lip......this is just my opinion tho..good luck
