Default Help With 2000 Gs400

It's been awhile since I sold my GS 430 but now I am looking to buy a 2000 GS 400. The car ha 37000 miles, navigation, white, and is the Platinum Edition. The price is $25,700. The car is out of warranty and I don't want to purchase a extended warranty. I don't think there would be any major maintance concearns with the low mileage. This is not from a Lexus dealer so it is not certified. Is ther anything in paticular I should be concearned about. Every thing works on the car and the body and paint are excellent.
Since I sold my 430 I have had a 350Z and a G35 6-speed. I hated the 350 but the G35 was nice, but felt cheap. Nothing compared to the GS.
Any help would be really appreciated since I am to do this Monday.

I just bought a GS400 with 39K miles on it. I called my local Lexus dealer, and gave them the vin so that they could let me know if any services are due on it. I was pleased to find that there was a service due at 30K, that was performed, and that the next one isn't until 45K. With such low miles, just have the oil changed and make sure it has had the services done, and you're good to go. You and I should have our cars for a very long time.

I think the price could be better............ $25,700 is exactly nada book value..............shoot for $23,000 or less as for an extended service agreement i think it is a good idea, .......u are simply proteceting your self against high cost repairs (it is a used car). Good luck with your purchase.

Since it is out of warranty, check for the common moisture in the headlamp problem.

since the new all new gs is coming out i think you can get better price

for the car, pay attention to the door locks and see if they all work well. is the battery new?

get the car checked out for leak or so if possible,
