everytime i go to these car forums, it makes me sad that i have no $$ to fix up my car... oh well. i'm not a guy~

eh. my car's under warranty... didn't want to buy a new battery when i could just get it replaced by the dealer..

 

So if you let your car sit for awhile the battery will get weak? That explains the time when it took me 6 tries to start my car. I let it sit for 3 weeks after putting some heavy miles on my car.

Joolee and Babygs3 i also have 22k miles on my car . No problems except for that one time when it took me 6 tries to start my car.

Niceride...yep... the battery will drain out if left to sit for a long time... think of it as a big rechargeable battery.. well... that's exactly what it is..

Hei... so all you guys live in the same area and have regular mini-meets? gosh.. i wish that here in guam we could have that sort of community... there are so many lexuses here but none of us meet like that.... wellllll.. actually.. Dave Toves (the manager at the dealership) puts together this little banquet at the Hyatt each year launching the new year's models... it's the closest we get to a Lexus meet... right after that meet, we added another Lex to our family... I guess the promotion helped ehheeh..

in the winters (up to -40 celcius) we sometimes experiance dead batteries, plus i have my subs that drain it even more. i went to canadian tire, picked up a battery charger, hook it up to the car once a week (winter only) for a couple hours at night, let it charge up and thats the end of those problems.

actually, i saw lexdriver12 and gsintensive's and globeCLK-GTR's posts in the thread about all of us being from UCI or around here. so we all talked and decided to go get dinner. we ended up cruisin and have done so almost every other day since. its a waste of gas and tire tread (it would help if we didnt floor it and do burnouts so much.. justin, remember when my gs3 smoked ur gs4? ) but its a BLAST and its fun beyond words. we also changed all of our lights so at night, we all look alike. its the sh!*.
