Hueheueh threads like this are inviting for war. Some people are gonna be pissed coz they don't make the top ten list. We must have the criteria straight. What is it that will make you top 10? You can't just say stuff like "There's so many nice ones around, how to pick?" This same question could be posed by the judges at HIN or Autosalon. They have hundreds of cars at the show they are judging and every contestant there SLAVED to get the car in that condition. But you know what, you can only pick 10, so pick them.

I see my name on the list, yet I don't think I should be there at all. Most of my mods are not pertinent to most members here on CL. My kit can't be bought anywhere, my wheels are not even for a Toyota, my brakes are only on ONE other car, heck, I am even RHD and my car is a V300 (what, only like 2 other guys here have the same engine?).

So, enough ranting, here's my list of top 10 and why they should be where they are, in no particular order:

1. JUNCTIONGS (you are JP's demo car and the source of my inspiration, 'nuff said!)
2. DaveGS4 (you are everything a conservative GS modder should aspire to be. Perfection.)
3. LXOGOOD (the level of detail that went into your car should have made it straight from factory!)
4. Bluelex (quiet, contemplative and always making major breakthroughs. Salut!)
5. D2-AUTOSPORT (always willing to take an extra chance with wheels, always score an A in my book)
6. BitKahuna (again another clean conservative GS and serious money spent on suspension!)
7. Gammalex (you got the Q45 headlights, the ONLY v2 Win Racing kit and you take mad pictures!)
8. GSXOTIC (something about your car looks just about right in every way, I can't say that for most)
9. Ted920 (ultra clean car and you are a car show judge, you should know how to do it right!)
10.Rominl (he's a guru on just about everything on CL, and also ugo ugo ugo ugo!)

Well there you have it. Honestly, I had a hard time coz I could only think of 3 people whom I think deserve the "best car" spot. The other 7 I picked because I think they could be great examples for the n00bs about how to do it "right".

all of the cars listed are an inspiration for me truly...ive looked hard at all of your rides and there is plenty of stuff i would to my car because of you all...with out pictures we will never know what people have out there, so thanks to those that take time to take pictures of your beauties...this site is full of nice *** gs's, but there is plenty of room to add more to the lists...when my car is through, you can look at it as an inspiration of all of youz guyz insight in the difficult modding process...Shyne

..how about another white one for 1st gen? No 1st gens on the lists other than someone mentioning LexAristo. I nominate myself for the white or even silver (2 tone). 93 GS300 hks, bride, volk, greddy and g_e_t parts, and probably the only drifting GS3 on the board





Jon, i agree your aristo 300v is not on the scale of ordinary cars, no matter how extraordinary.. bravo!

 

Definately would be too hard to list any 10 cars which i think are my favorite. But i have to nominate BlueLex as my all time favorite, as he was (and i have mentioned this before) my inspiration for buying a GS and also modding my GS in the manner that i have.

Holy Cow... I remember several years ago, there used to be like 5 or 6 cars that really pushed the limits. Now there are about 20 cars that really make an impression. I will say this... The vendors here on Club Lexus have done a wonderful job with Group Buys, "special" pricing and the JDM hook-ups! Without them, many of us wouldn't have the beautiful stuff on our cars. If the vendor forum continues to grow, I think all of us will not have any retirement money left over. Each year, I've noticed our cars seem to get better and better. It truly is an inspiration to the new Lexus owners on Club Lexus. You guys should all be proud of the work you have put into your cars. We are making a huge statement in the Lexus world...

Next time you have a free mintue, give a shout out to the vendor/s that have hooked up your car... It means a lot to them! I know they appreciate our business we give them!

 

can i give a shot out to KEN.. lol got lots of parts form him.. i havent dealt with any of the vendors though
