how about on the wall from say 5 to 10 ft away?

i am not 100% sure, but personally i doubt if the eye lids are going to help the cut off of the hid much. coz' the glare (light shooting upward) from hid kits, it's light shooting off the bottom part of the housing, not the top. so naturually i would think the smae amount of light still glares out.

i might be wrong though, it's just off my thinking

philips 6000k hid kits on stock halogen housing

it looks bright mostly due to the glare, a common problem for hid kits

I think they look great, bro. The eyelids make your whole front end looks sinister, especially with the light on! Very nice.
