hi, i see you have a bra on your GS. how long have you had it on there? do you have an impression if it has affected/will affect the paint underneath (coloration, breathing, scratching, etc). do you ever take it off? if you are a big fan, can you tell me the brand and approx cost of yours? i have a few chips that may or may not have occurred if i had a bra -- theoretically -- but i've never been convinced enough about their ability to protect me better. thanks for your thoughts.

A bra will change the color of the car. However, on long road trips it will help keep those bugs from harming the paint. If you live an in area with a high bug problem it may be a good idea. If not it would be more for looks. Any way you should be able to pick one up for between $80 and $150. The price depends on the quality and name brand.

It is true what 1SICKLEX has said, It is a Lexus bra I brought from Nalley Lexus in Atlanta for $115, (cheaper than the one on the Civic, if can believe that). One of the other Lex dealerships said they don't sell them because the said custumers were having difficulty putting them on, which is true when they are new, but I particularly like a tight fitting bra. I mainly put it on for road trips, but after seeing more and more paint chips, I think I will use it more often now, my wife seems to think it makes the car look sportier.

As for fading, my car sits in the garage during the week and I take it off after the weekend. You may think I'm strange, but I have never purposefully driven the car in the rain except when we were out of town on a road trip.
