I have the same problem with my 98 gs4.

 

somebody out there shine some light with this problem?

 

Mines dumps when when i reverse back for some reason. I lift my car up and i can't tell what's wrong with it, must be the ball joints or something.

 

I have a issue similar to this which only happens on rare occasions. If im cruising at a steady speed somewhere in the range of 40-55mph or even 65mph and I give a light acceleration, not even enough to downshift, then let off the pedal I hear and feel this drop in the rear end; a thunk noise and it feels like something whips and drops. No idea what it can be but would love to find out and fix it.

 

had this problem on my honda, it was the motor mounts on that. for this, iono.

 

Have this issue as well..... my motor mounts are shot. You can watch the engine life 2 inches or so and thud when it tops out. It also cause the exhaust to hit in the rear making it sound like rear end issue.
