Just wondering if anyone has add-ons to their exterior that require 3M tape, if so, have you ever taken it off and then replied new tape re attached to the surface of the car? maybe for repainting, or 3M tape starting to come off?
I have used the 3m tape before, and i'm not sure i understand the second question fully, but if you're questioning it's durability, the 3m is a great product, holds very well!
if they don't fall off, there is no reason for you to put on new 3m tape
for example, some of you might not know, but the lower door caps on the car, there are 3m tapes behind them to stick them on to the door, together with couple of screws around them. you don't go out and change those tapes
What I mean is that there is a small section on my WW spoiler that is coming unattached from the car, I was wondering if anyone has ever took the tape off and applied new tape and restuck it to the service?

oh so something is peeling up. yeah of course you should do that to make sure it's on the car safe
make sure you rub the area with alcohol before sticking
Yeah...that has happened to me before too....3M also makes some sort addhesive inhibitor that helps as well....look into that...it works hand in hand with the tape.
