Hey Kev, I live in Forestville, Maryland and I too may have to go to Beltsville to check out SRT. I won't be doing anything radical to my GS other than put some 18 or 19" on. I purchased my BlackCherry/Nav/NAV w/17" in Pa for about 35k. Like you it was off lease and only had 10,403 miles on it. Took Me a year to wait for that combination and one with a price that's was within my budget. As you probaly have found out, a use GS 430 in our area is not cheap. I have not decided on lowering my vehicle because like you I am afraid of the ride degradation. But considering it will be my weekend, holiday, special occassion vehicle I am not worried about it as much. 1 of my best buds just purchased a Gold GS 430 w/ NAV/ML/17" had 49,000. miles on it. And get this, the dealer put DVD/Headrest system in it because he was going to buy it. But his wife had other plans. But my friend wound up getting the car for 29k. So if you see a BlkCherry and Gold GS 430 rolling down I-95. It will be us. Good Luck and have fun. I love my car so much and my fiacee' loves it so much she doesn't even drive her M-B CLK 320 anymore. Arrrrrghhhhh! She want's a GS 430 but I am trying to convince her to get a G35 Coupe. LMAO.
