Rust?
Im having a hard time find a good deal on a GS4 in Washington State, so I have begun looking all over on auto trader to find a good deal.
I found a 99 GS4 from Ohio with about 54K miles on it, but am worried about buying a car from the east because of rust. I dont have any experience with this, so im asking if you guys know if cars from Ohio have a lot of rust, and if the car still has a corrosion warranty will any rust be fixed for free?
Thanks for your help

I recently bought a 98 GS4 from Ohio (also with 54k miles). No signs of rust. I've lived in the midwest all of my life and I've owned several cars for several years and it has never been a problem for me. I don't think you need to be all that concerned, especially with a Lexus. As long as the car has not been in an accident or repainted, you should be fine. My .02.

EV ftw!!!
I live in Ontario, Canada and the amount of salt dumped on our roads is just incredible. I bought my 99 GS400 in November 2002 with 34K miles on it. It was almost 4 years old and had been driven through 3 winters. Not one single speck or spot of rust on it.
I don't think you should be concerned at all. Unless of course the car has been in an accident or something like that.
