Or am I the only one that thinks this crown sedan thing looks like it was made 10-15 yrs. ago?

We use that crown for taxi cabs here in Jakarta and Singapore.

It's an older model and actually comes with manual transmission (on some models), pretty funky huh. An awesome platform to turn into a mega-vip sedan.

Not 4-wheel drive. Our Aristos come with 4 WHEEL STEERING which is a completely different technology that 4WD. We are all still rear wheel driven.

A new 2004 GS300 in Korea is around $80,000.

I am pursuading my mother to trade in her ES300 for the new GS300.
She told me to mind my own business.

Looking on the Japanese Toyota site I didn't see any mention of AWD for the Aristo.

My wife needs this system.
She has curbed both my Rims on the passenger side.

Then again for $5,000 curb them all you want honey I will just get a new set of rims.

The same goes for the 2JZ-GE JZS160 (your version of Lexus GS300).

As for Navigation, it depends on the software, obviously the local Japanese GPS software is A LOT more sophisticated, which allows them to do all that cool jazzy 3-d mapping of the local area.

My brother was offered a 3-camera parking system (left, right and back) which helps you to precisely park your car. The camera even has guiding imaginary lines to see how you line up to the curb, to the car next to you, and it calculates how close you are to the wall behind you as you are backing into a parking space. It was a $5000 option and my brother decided to forego that option. He said he's not that dumb that he needs the help of 3 cameras just to park his car.
so the v300 is the twin turbo version

Some guy in Florida in lexusownersclub successfully did a swap of V300 engine into his GS and he even had a step-by-step process of the whole ordeal. The biggest PITA was making his computer read and understand the new motor (WHOLE new wiring basically). A very commendable job.

Does anyone know what happened to this link. It won't let me see the Japanese sight anymore. It says something in Japanese then quickly redirects me. Is it because Japan is getting Lexus or they just won't let US see site?
