Hi all, Just bought a 98 Pearl white GS400 tonight. I used to have a Infiniti Q45 before tonight. I had a few questions

1. Where can I get the rear spoiler or one like the one that is the factory option one? About how much is it and what is the cost to paint one & install it?

2 I have the 16 in wheels and would like to upgrade to 17 or 18 inch rims. However ride and comfort and quietness are very important to me. How much will I sacrafice doing this and what tires and sizes would you reccomend. Performance is secondary to noise and comfort and looks. I already have a sc viper when I want to wrap myself around a pole.

Thanks for your advice

Kevin

Pics of all your Peal White bros and sisters.
1. http://www.l-tunedparts.com/ Simply the best.
2. Your in Cali, go to a meet and ride/drive some members cars. I've driven, ridden in 16s and its comfy. To 17s does make a difference, IMO for the better. The ride suffers a lil but not much. When I went from 17s to 18s, I could not tell a thing.
The usual upgrade is 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear/

Just take your time to read the GS FAQs and you'll see all u need.

wow....35 series on an 18" wheel is rubberband thin, don't you think??

When I was contemplating wheel purchases, I was gonna get a 245/45 up front and 265 or 275/40 out back.....

Even on 19's, I'd want a 245/40 all around, as running a 35 series would scare me considerably. Maybe it's a NY thing

ha ha-I don't think that will happen. My life savings went to modding the viper(moneypit)

I just want nicer looking wheels & tires that ride well.

Check the CL sponsors and vendors area for mods like body kits etc.

I've also only heard good things about D2 for rims, he is one of our sponsors as well.
