Very late commenting here, but DaveGS4, IMHO yours is the best combo of mods and detailing I've seen on a GS. Congratulations - I know it's been a long road and a few $$!

It is the same as the backup camera from the stock Lexus nav, but for a new RX330 (that backup camera is made by Fujitsu, same as Elipse). Unfortunately it won't work with any OEM GS nav that I'm aware of without some help. VVT-I has a keyhole camera wired into his OEM GS430 nav system, but I *think* he did it through the same box that lets him play movies.

I don't have OEM nav in my GS (only in my LS). I actually have part of the Eclipse back up camera (wiring) and part of another keyhole camera for the lens. The Eclipse one is a bit too large to fit in the keyhole, so we ended up using the wiring of the Eclipse camera and another brand of camera for the one in the keyhole. I didn't want the black box of the Eclipse one hanging off the back plate frame.

I did a quick video of it earlier this month if you want to see what it looks like from the Eclipse HU(right click save as here) .

yeah i also don't think the backup camera will work with the stock nav, either hdd base or the dvd base. i know the rx330 and the ls430 (04) they both have new dvd nav system (a new version) and that's why they have backup cameras.

if that's teh case then i guess the camera won't fit in older nav?
