Guyz....thanks for all the compliments. I'm really happy with the results....I'm really NOT into the rumbling sounds of an upgraded exhaust system....plus these were only $35 each....so I can't really go wrong, right?

Pete

One final thought....I see alot of looks/stares/jaw drops from my rear view & side mirrors with these suckers on....especially youngsters in Hondas or Acuras.

One 2003 ES300 driver almost crashed into the car in front of him....cuz he did a double take after he passed me. He eventually slowed down enough to give me a thumbs up. on my ride.

At my office parking garage....other 2nd gen. GS owners park next to me now. Are they hinting that there should be a GS-only section in the parking garage?

Funny, huh?

Maybe I gotta mount my sign in my office parking structure.

yo joshoowa -

I paid only $20...at a local exhaust shop. They cut the pipe (cuz it looks stupid with the pipe within the tip) and then spot welded. After I approved it....they welded it completely (360 degrees around).

Actually....there is a very slight rumbling (non-resonated tips)....I guess the larger area of the tips enhances the sound coming from the cut pipe. I kinda like it...even though I originally wanted it stealth-like.

Pete

Default Tips

They look really hot Pete. A clear winner for paying $70 bucks instead of $670 for the same look minus the sound. They welded them on for you, so now no one could steal them right?
