well i will not go into details, but the bottom line is, it's not rocket science to jack into our cars through the doors (without breaking the window), and it's also doable to start the car without a key. so given reasonable amount of time (i say 15 mins max), those cowards can even drive off in our cars.

granted, of course, this would be a lot harder than some other brands. i have seen integras where all you need to do is to reach in the driver side wheel well and pull the cable, then the hood pops, go in, jiggle some wires, and you are a happy owner

Wow, that really sucks!!! Hope all works out for you. Like rominl said, if a pro wants your car, he's going to get it...nothing you can do. Just hope that your insurance will re-pay you for everything you put on it. Hope you get it back in one piece. Keep us posted.

Yo, man, that really bites the biggie whole! they tried to break into mine 3 times, once successfully
but didn't drive away.
i also hope it was just towed. did you have it parked at home or at a public stop somewhere?
keep us up to date, but in either case i advise EVERYONE to get another alarm. our stock ones aren't
worth jack!

Blaster
All this talk about stealing our babies reminds me of the flame-throwing Blaster developed in South Africa to prevent car jacking. I'm sure it can be hooked up to an alarm system. Once the alarm is triggered...poof....say Bye-Bye to the car thief.

Check out the link. LOL!!

Of course you'll need to aim the flames away from our nice paint job.

I wonder why they felt the need to test those flamethrowers while indoors (parking garage)
