wow, I really like how those look. I'm comtemplating powdercoating my rims black as well. However, I can't seem to find anyone that will disassemble the wheel. It is a two piece, so theoretically I could do it myself, but the only problem that I have is finding out the torque specs. I called Makinen (US distributor for Volks), but they said that Rays Wheels won't give out the torque specs for fear of legal issues.
But one powder coat shop that I had called said that if I find out what size torx/hex bolt it is, there are standardized torque values, could anyone verify that for me? Anyways, here's my photoshop of what it would look like....
