Default Front seat airbag

I'm in the process of replacing the leather driver seat cover on my 98 Lexus GS400. Can somebody please explain what is the degree of difficulty of reusing the Airbag? My supplier is telling me they recommend using a Professional for that.

They are telling you that to avoid potential liability if there is ever a problem. When replacing the leather you shouldn't have any issues with the airbags

I've wondered where they are exactly. I reupholstered my seats and didn't see them.

Anything to do with an airbag only requires disconnecting the power source, letting it sit for 5 minutes, and then keeping it away from a potential electrical source while you do your work. No one should have any trouble reupholstering a seat with airbags. Likely won't even see them as mentioned.
